Lake Garda.. Which Bike should I bring with me?
There is an ideal bike for every surface, but today I want to help you choose which bike to take with you on holiday to Lake Garda. We have seen a growth in the bike market over the past few years and choosing the correct bike for each tour is not easy. The choice depends on the area you will be using it in, how trained you are, the weather and your personal skills. Here on Lake Garda, the tracks & trails are not always that simple to ride, so the correct choice of bike will make it easier for you.
ONE TERRITORY, LOTS OF BIKE ITINERARIES
Lake Garda is a real paradise for bike lovers. Here you can find a great variety of itineraries, trails and cycle paths and that enable you to spend the most amazing days on your bike. What is the first thing to do? To decide which sort of tour you want to do: Mountain Bike, road bike or simply city bike.
You have made your choice, but you want to know which MTB to bring, right?
Once you have decided which tour to do, you will then have to choose between two different types of bikes: an E-BIKE or a "muscular" MTB. The first one, which is becoming more and more popular , allows you to pedal for longer with less physical effort. It can have full suspention for the more challenging descents, or front, for those who love pedaling uphill or simply want to go on less technical tour.
If you prefer a "muscular" MTB, there is a huge variety of bikes to choose from:
On Lake Garda you can go for any of these, and you will always be satisfied with your choice. All of these bikes are ideal to bring with you on holiday! If your car is full of luggage and there isn't room for much else, I would recommend that you bring your trail bike with you. You will have always have fun with this one on any type of track or trail. The long pedalling sessions with consequent downhill won't be a problem. If you don't have your own trail bike, don't worry! There are numerous bike rentals in Torbole with a great choice! Still not sure? I am always at the Hotel Santoni Freelosophy and I am more than happy to give you any kind of advice. See you in Torbole!
